Subject: North Central Soccer Referee Unit 2011 RECERTIFICATION CLINICS FOR
LEVEL 8 & 9 Referees
To All North Central Soccer Referee Unit referees:
In
order to be certified to referee in 2011, you need to attend a recertification
clinic. If you have not yet attended a clinic or
signed up for one, please do so in the very near future as there are only three
more recertification clinics scheduled for the North Central area between now
and January 8th. Two of them will be held this
coming Saturday. To register for a clinic, go to www.wisref.org
web site and then go to Training/Clinics (upper right hand corner).
“Please
note that In order to promote and help facilitate the timely processing of USSF
registration forms through the state office for submittal to the USSF, the
Wisconsin Program for Referee Development is requesting that all referees attend
their required recertification course prior to the end of the calendar year. A
late fee will be assessed to those referees attending courses after January 1.
- JAN
1-31 - $10 Late Fee to be added to the USSF fee (Does
not apply to St Pt clinic)
- FEB
1-28 - $15 Late Fee to be added to the USSF fee
- MAR
1-31 - $25 Late Fee to be added to the USSF fee”
The
North Central Soccer Referee Unit will be offering recertification clinics on
the following dates:

13th , Saturday, Waupaca, WI,
Location:
Waupaca High School, Go through the front doors and follow the signs
Time:
9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
·
Nov
13th , Saturday, Wausau, WI,
Location:
Newman
Catholic High School, 1130 West Bridge Street, Wausau.
Time:
9:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Jan
8, 2011, Saturday, Stevens Point, WI
Note:
Attendees at this clinic will not be charged a $10.00 late filing fee
Location:
the UWSP College of Professional Studies (CPS), Room 116, the room is located at
the South end of the building which is on the South side of Fourth Ave. Parking
is available in Lot E on Isadore Street.
Time:
9:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Recertification
clinics must be six hours in length; five hours of in service training and one
hour for taking and reviewing the test. A physical fitness
test will not be offered. All
of the clinics are now on the www.wisref.org
web site.
Please
bring the following to the session you attend:
1.
A
check made out to the “wisref.org” for $40.00.
2.
A
check made out to the “North Central Soccer Referee Unit” or “NCSRU” for
$20.00 for the clinic fee.
If you are a High School or Junior High student, the
NCSR clinic fee is only $10.00 for recertification.
3.
A
pen (black ink for
completing the registration from), paper to take notes and a lunch if you
wish to eat before the end of the clinic.
4.
Your
2010 USSF Registration card which has your USSF Id number. (If you
don't have your USSF id number, you can still sign up for a clinic and get
recertified.)
5.
Game
Experience Form
with the games you have refereed or assistant refereed filled in if
you wish to have your games recorded at the State level.

note that a major portion of this year’s 2011 recertification exam was taken
from the USSF’s 2009-10

I would advise reviewing / refreshing your knowledge with these two
documents.

pre-register for the clinic of your choice at www.wisref.org
. If you have any questions, e-mail or call Vern Schroth at
(715) 341-7528 or the contact person listed for the clinic you are planning on
attending.
Please note that in order to attend a
clinic; you should be at least 14 years of age by the middle of the summer.
To register for the clinic, you must go to the www.wisref.org
web site which will also give you the exact location of the session. If
you have any specific questions you may contact one of the persons listed above.
