Proposed purchases for 2009 – 2010 Soccer Year  

New Flag –

possibly 2 of each?  3 lg one small? 

Step 2:  little neon kid holding a flag (Step 2 product) to slow traffic down $25-

         $30.  to put by the speed  bumps on the sidewalk so cars don’t go up on the

         sidewalk to go around the speed bumps and hopefully to slow them down. 

One for sure, I would like to get 2 more to put on the street that connects Brilowski and Badger that goes through a neighborhood.  It would be a “good

Neighbor” thing to do.  (possibly one on Sarah’s corner and then one farther

Down on the other side.

Plexiglas sign holders for advertising:   all 8x11 holding size – one of the following-

Would get 3 cases (bathroom doors/both sides = 16; entry doors/both sides = 6; concession wall to hold lists; possibly on score board) keep tape off the doors etc.

        P45 – tamper resistant slide-in metal wall frames:  1-24 - $12.75

        P46 - fold up sign holders – 1-24 - $6.20  (case 10/cost each or case)

        P47 – clean mount frame – 1-24 - $5.10   case 10

        P47 – clean mount frame w/black boarder – 10c $6.45

Mail boxes:  have asked someone to look into the possibility of making our own. 

I have not heard back yet.  Would like to add one Metal lock box to the grouping for PCYS form/$/mail etc (office mgr/treasurer) – Lowes – Oasis lock box  $109 – top is a drop and bottom half locks/unlocks to retrieve contents. 

Commercial mail boxes are pricy.  It would make paper/info transmission much more efficient and accessible.  Sue lives in Amherst .  I was thinking of 20-30.  One for each coach and other committees. Possibly removable to bring inside for the winter?  Or cement post in and leave.  Thinking between the garage and SPASH shed on inside of fence. 

Ball bags:  for handing out competitive balls annually.   Mesh around $6-8 each.    

Safety vests:  for tournaments – we use them for parking and field marshals.  Could use few more.  $5 and under (maybe 6)

Shed for field set up supplies: so team mgrs only need 1 key. Plastic, possibly attached to the side of the spash shed?  Ease of set up/ control of keys and supplies and equipment.

OR MAYBE FOR:

Shed for select team supplies:  possibly they could buy. They seem to think they don’t need one?  Team balls/tents/seats?  I guess they keep them right now but what happens to the supplies when a select team is dissolved/suspended?  Like the U15 this year.  They just bought pinnies.   Put up on the blacktop by the brown shed…would like a better idea of what would need to go in    it but basically something like a 8’ x 6’ Sun Terrace shed -   $600

        Lowes, Sun Terrace – plastic, heavy duty floor, vent in gables

If each of the 5 teams put in $120 they could get it.  Put their own lock on it.   OR

Shed/ half a shed for flags, time clock table and chairs etc for SPASH games.  Could attach to back of dugouts.   Less people with keys to set up.  Less distance.  Right now the set up person needs the gator to go and get the flags and table and chairs are carried from the concession stand nightly.  You need someone with a garage key, brown shed key and concession key.  Maybe not a concession key as the concession worker could be that person.  OR

Just a safe place to hang/leave a table and chairs in/by the dug outs and a half shed attached to the SPASH shed for the team managers to set up fields for games.  It would have flags in it.
